When I started blogging, my understanding of commenting on other blogs was constrained to the idea of simply leaving a remark and just having your say. Little did I know how shallow and unfounded that belief was. As I progressed and learned more, I began to gain a deeper understanding on the true meaning and essence of leaving comments on other blogs.
A recent blogging contest, held on Famous Bloggers in collaboration with the Comluv Network, made me understand more about comments and commenting. I’ve had the chance to read most of the 39 articles submitted on that contest and gained further knowledge on the subject at hand. In my opinion, it would be quite hard to find such useful and informative articles, from different authors that varies in opinion one way or another, all compiled in one blog. Isn’t it wonderful? It’s a real treasure trove for people like me who yearns for knowledge and eager to learn to improve his blogging.

As most of you might already know, the FB Comluv Blogging Contest has recently concluded and my good friend Hesham Zebida and Andy Bailey has just posted the winners on their respective sites. Had I known about this earlier, I would’ve surely participated, but I don’t have any regret about it at all. What I learned from reading through the entries is more than enough to make me a happy and satisfied blogger.
I would like to congratulate all the winners, especially my favorite blogger, Kristi Hines of Kikolani dot com and my fellow pinoy blogger Melvin Dichoso of Melvinblog dot com. My praise also to those who actively participated, both on the contest and in commenting and sharing their views. Finally, I commend Hesham and Andy for putting up a wonderful contest, making it happen, and paving a useful means of blogging interaction in the ever-growing blogging community.
