If you’ve been here before, you might notice some changes. Yup, you got that right. I made another redesign for Private Corner. Well, I get easily bored visually and thought that the former set up of the blog is somewhat cluttered. I thought it needed more appeal and substance… needed character. So I hit the Maintenance Mode button and started redesigning the blog.
You might be asking if I hired someone to do the redesigning for me. The answer is no, and I did the redesign myself. I couldn’t afford to hire one simply because I don’t have money to pay for one. Besides, I am a freelance graphics designer myself, although I’m on the advertising side of the industry. Much of my experience is on Photoshop, doing banners, business cards, desktop publishing, etc. I’m just learning the how to’s of Web Design and most of my knowledge came from self-study and research in the Internet.
So that’s it. Whenever I came into a design or coding snag and didn’t know what to do, I run to Google for help and searched what I wanted to know. There are tons of resources and tutorials here in the web to make you become a self-taught web designer, as long as you know the basics of the trade. I simply utilized that resource and tried putting it in action on my blogs, or whatever project that I’m doing.
I hope you like Private Corner’s new look. I tried to take down the clutter as much as it is possible and improve the blog’s readability. Though I still need to hear your thoughts or insights about this new look. Your feedback is important to me and your opinions are very much appreciated.

Hi Julius,
Since I’m just new to your site and only been reading your posts lately, I might say that the design of your site is simple, with little clutter and it is very easy on the eyes when reading. Overall, I like it!
