Two souls lain beneath the stars
softly whispering to each other’s ears
Pledges of love which utterly sears
mammoth waves of pain and fear
Two hearts bound in unity
living in joy, apart from reality
Caught between passion’s fraility
running through their entity
Two eyes meeting together
with silent cues that meant forever,
Radiant glitter which can deliver
a thousand volts that makes one quiver
Two lips bound profusely
ignoring all, devouring freely,
Sweetness that tastes like honey
completely steals another’s sanity
One love shared by two
serenely subtle, always true,
Life’s meaning, less the blue
a promise to lovers, never to woe.

Very nice poem! Did you write this yourself? I once wrote poems during my high school days, but not this beautiful. Reading through your poem, it really brings out the feelings of true love. Definitely liked it!
